Sebastian Stenzel 2000 "Ex Prof. M. Seidel" for Sale!

For sale is one of my earlier guitars that stands out from my work for several reasons: (1) Especially made for Prof. Matthias Seidel, professor for guitar and head of the Stringed Instruments Department at the famous Mozarteum University in Salzburg, Austria. Considering that Prof. Seidel played this guitar for 24 years, it is in amazingly good condition. Other than the good care he gave it, a reason for this good condition is its varnish: this is the only guitar I ever used (2) the original Weissgerber varnish recipe for, a varnish that, once dry, becomes extremely durable. The soundboard is cedar and back and sides are of (3) exceptionally beautiful CSA-rosewood. Tuners are (4) Rodger's with Satin wood elefant buttons, made personally by David Rodgers in England. On request, I offer the restoration of the few playing marks and blemishes and a bit of craquelé on the back.
Please inquire for price and further information.

Scale length: 650 mm
Nut width: 53 mm
Tuners: hand engraved Rodger's
Case: white Pegasus from Scotland (extreeemely sturdy)
