Unlikely, but certainly the first 8-course oud with 'Enhanced Wood' soundboard.

Bowl, neck and pegbox: Forrest cherry with walnut spacers/walnut binding. The cherry will darken with age and within a year or two acquire a wonderful reddish-brown hue.

Fingerboard: ebony, appr. 180 years old
